NEW BETA FEATURE: DOMAINS CAN NOW BE BURNED 🔥 Parent & sub-domains can now be burned on our UI. Burning a domain is irreversible, so do not do it if you are unsure! When a domain is burned you will get some SOL back and the burned domain will return to the registry (that is, allow someone else to register it if they wish). If you made a mistake, the only way for you to get that domain back is to register it again. Sub-domains of course work differently and you can just create the same sub again. The intent is to keep the ecosystem clean and get rid of unwanted domains. To burn a domain you need to toggle the Beta feature on.

ROADMAP PROGRESS; BUSINESS CATEGORIES 💼 On SNS Optics we have various categories mostly determined by user choice. A recent suggestion in the feedback campaign was that we add business categories with the idea of buying these back and distributing them to the actual business owners when the time is right. So, we have made a start with the list. However, finding a nicely curated list of businesses (those in different fields, smaller/larger, popculture or not) is not that easy. What we have done is taken the Forbes list over the last 2 decades, cleaned it and collected them in the soon to be published category. The list contains 1834 domains in total, 886 were already registered and 948 available. Those that were available we've registered and looking to buy-back the rest periodically. Once the category is public and you know that you own one of these names we'd like to encourage you to make us aware. This would be much easier for us to initiate a buy-back. WE NEED YOUR HELP 🙏 We know that you'd probably like a better collected list and perhaps even split up into different categories. In saying this, it'll be great if you can lend us a hand. They help dApps send personalized email communications (updates, alerts, rewards, billing and reminder emails) to users’ wallet addresses. UPDATE ON TWITTER Update on OG account @bonfida: We have submitted 2 appeals and contacted Solana for help. Since then we have not heard anything not even an email response from Twitter. We are submitting another appeal today. Update on Twitter Bot: 1. First request for Twitter API keys rejected 2. Then we created the bot you know today. That got suspended. 3. We killed the account and submitted an application for another bot almost a week ago - we have not heard anything. Update on temp bonfida account @bonfidalabs: Account was created last week Friday and it went really well. We were super excited about getting back on Twitter and even though we were starting from scratch it didn’t matter. No more than 4 hours later we got locked out of our account again. Overall, we’ve continued to use new numbers and emails created for each account. Only one person logged into all of these as well. It’s hard to know what’s going on without reason. There’s no doubt that you are frustrated and for that we dearly apologize. This isn’t the ideal situation and at times we really need to catch ourselves from getting angry. We are and will continue doing our best getting something up and working. There is no use in speculating the cause. Stay with us ❤️

RARE TRAIT HAS NOW BEEN ADDED TO TOKENIZED DOMAINS 🎉 All domains less than five characters will have this trait 💍 Please note, the implementation is not retroactive. If your domain is already wrapped, you need to unwrap and rewrap again for the rare trait to show in the metadata of the NFT. What does this mean ❓ You can now easily search for rare domains as a category on Magic Eden, for example.
